Butterfly Dreamz Volunteer Opportunities!

Hi leaders! Butterfly Dreamz has lots of exciting projects coming up, and we could use your help!! Please see the brief descriptions below, and if you're interested in learning more, complete the Volunteer Interest Form so our team can send you more info once it's available. Women and girls of all ages are welcome to volunteer!

Volunteer Opportunities

• Scholarships & Grants Team: Help us review submissions for our 2023 youth scholarships ($3,000 each) and our 2023 local nonprofit grants ($5,000 each), and help us select winners. Please note: If you plan to apply for a Butterfly Dreamz scholarship or grant, you aren't eligible to volunteer for this team. ​

• Wellness Weekend Planning Team: Help us plan community wellness events for our Wellness Weekends in Newark, NJ (Nov 10th - Nov 12th) and Gary, IN (Mar 18th - 20th). This will be a time for us to connect with our community, contribute to local businesses, and celebrate our work and well-being! 

• Leadership Journal Editing & Book Tour Team: Help us design and edit our 2023 Leadership Journal for publication in November and plan a national book tour for 2024.

• College & Career Exploration Team: Help us plan fun and engaging virtual events and field trips that 1.) teach our teen girls and young women about various industries and 2.) introduce them to college/post-secondary education options, diverse career paths, and women leaders.

• Butterfly Dreamz Board Member: Apply to join our Butterfly Dreamz Board of Directors, supporting with organizational governance, program evaluation, and fundraising. ​
